Why Phone Cards Are Better than Your Normal Landline?

One of the main reasons why people were hesitant to make long distance calls on land line is the cost. It was prohibitive and was a great burden on the pocket. Another reason is that the caller should remember all the numbers like the country code, city code and the telephone number of the person he is trying to contact. It was very difficult remember all these numbers, particularly for a person who frequently calls different persons.
All these drawbacks are simply removed in the Phone Cards. It is a simple gadget and operates similar to a credit card. The caller purchases the card from the calling company and call charges are reduced from the balance available in the card. It is the cheapest mode of communication. The caller is exempt from paying connectivity charges, service charges etc. In this prepaid calling plan, the caller is also exempt from paying minimum deposit. On the contrary all these have to be paid for calling through landline or through payphone mode.
On the top of it, the caller is offered special discounts for frequently calling any particular country. He is also offered gifts on the occasion of New Year etc. The calling plan can be bought for as low as $2. Therefore, the caller can buy it depending on his budget or calling need. In payphone the caller has to pay the minimum whether he calls during a particular period or not. No such payment arises in phone cards.
Yet another advantage is using the pone card is that the person can call from his office, home, mobile or even through public telephone office. But, under payphone or landline, the caller has to call from the designated telephone connection only.
